Interfaced PIC16F887 microcontroller with RTLinux (RTPreempt kernel) terminal using null-modem cable utilizing UsART RS232 communication protocol. Used LM35 thermistor for temperature sensing and 2N6507 SCR and MOC3011 TRIAC for power switching.
